Marklin 39716 Railcar Train ICE 4 Series 412-812 with Green Stripe
Model: 5-piece design in length 1:95. With digital decoder mfx + and extensive sound and light functions. Regulated high-performance drive with flywheel centrally installed in the restaurant car. All 4 axles in both bogies driven by cardan. Traction tires. Driver's cabs of the end cars with interior decoration. Direction-dependent power supply via the respective front end car. Special short couplings with link guide. Depending on the direction of travel, a three-light peak signal and two red taillights, conventionally in operation, can be digitally switched. Standard interior lighting. Interior lighting is supplied by the continuous electrical connection of the entire train. Different color scenarios for the interior lighting digitally switchable. Additional driver's cab lighting, each separately digitally switchable. Entire lighting with maintenance-free warm white and differently colored light emitting diodes (LED). Both pantographs on the service trolley can be raised and lowered separately as a digital function. Trafficable minimum radius 437.5 mm. Driving on the radius 1 is also possible without consideration of the clearance space profile. Length of the train 151.5 cm. Available from 2nd half of 2020.
At the end of 2016, the fourth generation of the ICE will start the testing and introduction phase, initially with two 12-part units. The ICE-4 (412 series), manufactured by Siemens in cooperation with Bombardier, is designed for use on high-demand lines and will gradually replace the ICE-1 and ICE-2 in the future, thus becoming the future backbone of the long-haul fleet. As a train set, the ICE 4 is designed for the greatest possible adaptability. Essential for this are the drive cars, the so-called "power cars", where the main drive and power supply components such as transformer, traction converter, traction cooling system and the four traction motors are identical and arranged below the car body. Currently, those in delivery, Twelve-part trains of six "Power Cars", the restaurant car, the service car, two non-powered center car and the two Endsteuerwagen formed. The ICE 4 wagons are a bit longer compared to previous ICE types with 27.9 m instead of 26.4 m. In conjunction with a new seating system, it was possible to create a larger seating space with the same legroom and more storage space for the luggage. Despite its high seating capacity, the ICE-4 is comparatively light, with both its modularization and lightweight, internally mounted bogies and weight-optimized engine bogies, as well as further development of the aerodynamic design for weight and energy savings. That's why it uses up to 22% less energy than its predecessors. The advanced Bombardier FLEXX Eco bogies alone, with their low unsprung masses and very low weight, contribute to low energy consumption thanks to their design and cladding options. By contrast, the robust engine bogies of the ICE-4 are a further development of the proven SF 500 family from Siemens and meet the high demands placed on bearing loads and drive forces. The electronic vehicle control system will be taken over by SIBAS PN, the innovative railway automation system from Siemens. The system consists hierarchically of the two levels train bus ETB (Ethernet Train Bus) with the various control units and the conventional vehicle control (control lines, contactors, switches) and the vehicle bus PROFINET, where everything is designed redundantly. After several order changes DB has now ordered 1,511 ICE-4 cars, which are put together in 50 twelve-part and 50 thirteen-part (then with seven Powercars) and 37 seven-part (3 Powercars) trains. Two remaining Endsteuerwagen are provided as a reserve. The ICE-4 are designed for a top speed of 250 km / h, but can be easily increased to 265 km / h, if required with a modified drive motor ratio. At present, the twelve-part units are currently being delivered. Successive follow then first divider. Delivery of the 13-splitters is expected to begin in 2021, when the delivery of the 50 twelve-unit units will be completed. which will be put together in 50 twelve-part and 50 thirteen-part (then with seven Powercars) and 37 seven-part (3 Powercars) trains.
