Revell 14519 '55 Chevy Bel Air Street Machine 2N1
Model: Not only did a daring new “shoe-box” body design make the all-new 1955 Chevy look fast it was fast, thanks to the all- new V-8 engine. Through the years, the ‘55 Chev has remained a gearhead favorite and your Monogram model represents the ultimate version of this famous street machine. The classic lines of the original Bel Air remain unchanged, but the front bumper has been removed to reduce weight. The front end has been “jacked up,” and a lightweight tube axle with leaf springs handles the steering chores. A GMC 6-71 blower adds extra “GO” to the small-block V-8. The custom interior sports “tough” bucket seats and that all-important roll bar. Wide street tires mount on slotted mags, and the stock grille and hood ornament help accent the beautiful paint.
