Model: The Porsche 914, popularly known as the "VW Porsche," was the result of a cooperation between Volkswagen AG and Porsche, and a total of almost 120,000 units were built. The majority of these, over 115,000 units, rolled off the production lines at Karmann in Osnabrück. The Porsche 914/6 on which our Schuco model is based was equipped with the 2-liter 6-cylinder from the Porsche 911 and was produced at Porsche's main plant in Zuffenhausen.
