Schuco 452626100 MAN 10t GL Truck Bundeswehr Camouflaged
The 4-axle MAN 10t gl truck completes the MAN CAT-I family. Equipped with a 320 BHP Deutz engine, an exhaust turbocharger and charge air cooling, this truck has been used by the supply units of the armed forces divisions, brigades and corps groups of the army since November 1976. Because of the extended loading surface, this vehicle is used to transport bulk consumables such as ammunition and fuel, and supplies the combat units. MAN built two versions between 1976 and 1985. One version had a Rotzler 5-ton cable winch, and was intended for use with handling equipment such as fork lifts. The 464 model, on the other hand, had an Atlas-Weyhausen 1-ton loading crane mounted in the left-hand side in the middle of the loading surface. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this MAN 10t to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.
