Schuco 452636400 MAN 5T GL KAT1 Tank Truck Bundeswehr Camouflaged
The MAN 5t gl CAT 1 was also designed for the German Army and replaced more and more of the older trucks from the Germany Army establishment period from 1976 onwards. This 5-tonner, which was powered by a Deutz V8 diesel engine with 256 BHP, was introduced in 1976. These vehicles were mainly used as flatbed trucks with and without tarpaulins for transporting persons and materials, as carrier vehicles for the cab II and as a carrier vehicle for firing control radar. However, the MAN 5-tonner is also used as a tanker vehicle with one 4600 litre tank or two 2300 litre tanks. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this MAN 5t to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.
