Tamiya 58622 Heavy Dump Truck GF-01 Chassis
Dump trucks earn their living in some of the toughest workplaces around: large-scale construction sites, mines and quarries to name but a few. The largest of them are known as “off-highway trucks” which cannot be driven on public roads; factory built, they are disassembled and component parts such as the chassis, cab, fenders, axles and rear bed are transported via trailer to their employer, where they are re-assembled on site. These giant vehicles can reach the height of 2-storey buildings, with tires exceeding 4 meters in diameter, engines generating over 3,500hp, and an ability to carry loads topping 300 tons. Some can even be controlled remotely for use in dangerous environments. Now, you can feel the power scaled down into realistic 1/24, with the addition of this exciting new R/C model assembly kit, with realistic yellow ABS resin molded cab and rear bed parts. The model runs on the gear-driven 4WD of the GF-01 chassis.
About the Model

• This gear-driven 4WD chassis is based around a lightweight and tough monocoque frame, with power provided by the centrally-positioned motor. It utilizes a 'square' setup with similar tread and wheelbase lengths
• Sealed gearbox is integrated into the frame and protects from dust and debris, while the built-in front and rear differential gears provide smooth cornering
• This is reinforced by 4-wheel double wishbone suspension and friction dampers plus a 2-piece tie rod steering setup with the servo on the left for excellent response
• It has chrome-plated wheels to match the chassis, fitted with big 115mm diameter soft compound lug pattern spike tires, plus a rear support bar with roller to prevent the model from flipping

★The model comes equipped with 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, friction dampers, and a large bumper.	★Servo position on the left of the chassis contributes to excellent balance and steering response.

★The model can also be shown with the rear bed raised (display only) using 2 stays.	★Lug pattern spike tires ensure that this heavy dump truck has plenty of traction!
