The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights on locomotive sides 2 and 1 can be separately switched off digitally. If the headlights on both sides of the locomotive are switched off, the double-A light functions on both sides. Driver's cab lighting can be controlled digitally separately for each driver's cab. Maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED) are used for the lighting.
